ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
The CJ Terrace Garden Project is a novel garden at Loyola campus that aims to renew an underutilized garden site atop the BookStop.
Their mission is two-fold:
- To increase native biodiversity through planting native perennials that foster pollinator populations;
- To contribute to the circular food system at Concordia by growing food crops for donation at the end of the growing season.
This project is also considered a ‘green roof’ offering a one-of-a-kind opportunity for growing in the built environment.
The CJ Terrace is a public space on campus, so it is open at all times.
SERVICES:
- Rooftop gardens
